I love a good vacation but I love submerging myself in another culture more. I have a few places I can't wait to visit.
Macchu Picchu
This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. The mountains, the history, all of it excited me. I would probably do a trip to Lima and backpack around Peru to Macchu Picchu. You can get a good 5-7 day tour for 3500 a person.
The Maldives
Pure beauty. Nothing more to say. This is more of a relaxation trip and a pretty expensive one at that. Everytime I have looked it's been more than I want to spend to see a beach.
Cinque Terre, Italy
The city built on the hill. I have seen Italy but not all of it. This is definitely a stop me and my son will take when go to Italy next summer.
Mozambique and Zanzibar, Africa Safari
My husband has been blessed to go to Africa multiple times, and it's a someday for me. Being out in the bush and living in nature sounds dangerously exciting.
Ha Long Bay, Vietnam
We got this idea from an old coworker of my husband's. His wife was from here and the stories he's told put in on our list. The most expensive part of this one is the flight.
Antelope Canyon, AZ
My goal is to be healthier in the next year and I would eventually like to hike the canyon. Any takers to go with me?
The Great Sphinx, Egypt
I am not sure if I will ever get to Egypt but I would love to see all it has to offer. The history here it astonishing. Avoid the heat
The best time to go to Egypt to avoid the heat High season-mid-October—February.
Santorini, Greece
Picturesque...not sure that I need to say more. I have had friends travel here and they said the vibes were romantic and everything was beautiful. From late March to early June, and from early September to late October are the best times to go to Santorini.
Alaska
Another place my husband has gone without me. But his trips are a bit different than I want. He fishes and stays in a remote cabin. I think I could do that for a day or two then I would like to see more via a cruise.
Galapagos Islands
The islands are off of Equado and are one of the most biodiverse locations on the earth with many different animal species, some only specific to the island. You need a guided trip from the mainland as most of the 19 islands will not allow to visit without one.
There are many more places I would love to see and hopefully I get to them all.
